Prices Include: UK Flights  | Transfers | Accommodation What you see is what you get! Altitude is located at 1530 metres, on the piste, in the main Les Gets ski area of Les Chavannes and next to all the lifts. Green, red and blue pistes weave back to the terrace through the woods.
This property was bought in 2008 and by the time the doors open in late November, 3 years will have been spent designing and building the ultimate piste side retreat.
The funky urban interior will boast lift access to nine bedrooms, including five family rooms, some with balconies or terraces and three with private outdoor hot tubs. All rooms have flat screen TVs and BOSE Sound Docks.
The penthouse level has three bedrooms with a private lounge and small office. Downstairs there is a piste side bar, lounge terrace and restaurant that are open to the public during the day. Residents also have exclusive use of two private lounges with an open fire and flat screen entertainment.
On the ground floor there is a wet suite with sauna and massage room and access to the outdoor hot tub. There is also a family room for children to play in comfort during the day, a facility for Mum to sterilize bottles and for teenagers to battle with the Wii.
At last the ultimate skiing venue has been conceived. |

Catering: | ::back to top | | Good food is an essential ingredient of every chalet holiday. The welcoming glass of bubbly and appetising canapés on your first evening sets the tone for a week of tempting cuisine.
Your day starts with a choice of tea or coffee at your bedside (we can leave it outside the door if you prefer). This is followed by a hearty breakfast, including bacon, tomatoes and a choice of eggs or, if you prefer, porridge; all served with fruit juice, cereals, yoghurt, freshly baked bread, croissants, jams, and a selection of teas and coffee.*
While you are out skiing your host will have laid out afternoon tea for your return – diet-defying cakes, bread, jam, tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
Dinner comprises a three-course meal followed by a cheese course, coffee and mints, and all complemented by a selection of extremely palatable wines.* The quality of our wine is of a much superior standard to that which you might have come to expect on a chalet holiday and we have a choice of house reds and whites to accompany your evening meal. In the unlikely event that our house wine proves not to be to your liking, then additional choices, including Champagne and port are available for a supplement.
We are pleased to offer a varied vegetarian and children's menu. In addition we will do our utmost to accommodate special dietary requirements, provided that sufficient prior notice is given and subject to locally available supplies.
*The chalet staff have 1 day off a week when a buffet style breakfast will be laid out for you to help yourself. Your evening meal will be at a local restaurant; the chalet staff will be happy to help recommend and book for you if required.
Children’s meals:
The chalet hosts serve high tea for children at around 6pm. All children under 12 are required to take high tea unless the whole chalet is booked by your group. If this is the case and would rather your children eat with you later, then please advise us at the time of booking along with any dietary requirements your child may have. |
