As this is the highest resort you can enjoy the most beautiful ski safaris. If you are a starter you also have a beginners slope 200m from the chalet.
Chalet le Yeti is a combined chalet, next to a nice creperie with a large terrace and lots of deck chairs.
Avoriaz is a spectacular resort and is ideal for people who want slope side accommodation in a modern purpose-built resort. It is situated at the centre of the vast Portes du Soleil system, encompassing eight resorts in France and four in Switzerland, most of which are linked by an extensive lift system and ski bus service.
During the day a cable-car connects Avoriaz with Prodains, which is just a ten minute shuttle ride from the town of Morzine with its shops, bars and restaurants.
Please note: The village itself is traffic-free and guests arriving by car and coach will have to leave their vehicles in the parking areas at the entrance to the resort. If arriving by coach, your luggage will be transported by Ractrac (motorised sleigh) to your accommodation at time of check in. |

Catering: | ::back to top | | The chalet staff are chosen for their excellent culinary skills and will provide tempting menus to satisfy the hungriest of skier. Your day will begin with a choice of continental breakfast, to include cereals, yoghurts, fruit, bread accompanied by fresh coffee, tea and fruit juice.
Before dinner is served, you will have a chance to relax with a drink. You can look forward to a delicious dinner, prepared with interesting and varied ingredients finished off with fresh coffee. Breakfast and dinner are always served in the dining room of the chalet. Our chalet staff will be happy to cater for vegetarians or cetain special dietary requirements but please let us know of these at the time of booking.
Your chalet staff will have one day off during the week. Breakfast (only) will be provided, but in the evening you will have the chance to sample one of the many restaurants in your resort, which your chalet staff will be happy to recommend and book for you. |
